Sacoa Playcard installed at several new locations

Following in the footsteps of the 2008 twin deployments in El Paso and Memphis, Sacoa Playcard has installed its true wireless system in two new locations opened by America's Incredible Pizza Company (AFIC): Urbandale, Iowa (opened July 5), and Indianapolis (opened July 23). Each of these locations now use the Sacoa Playcard system for managing their food and beverage sales, redemption counter, and wireless operation of over 100 games each. Sebastian Mochkovsky, Sacoa's Director of Sales, said he is very pleased with AIPC's decision to continue installing the Sacoa system in their upcoming locations.

Earlier in the summer, Sacoa's wireless Playcard system was also installed at Corvette Diner's new location. Cohn Restaurant Group's first restaurant concept moved to San Diego's Historic Liberty Station after 22 years in the Hillcrest community. The new location, with seating for 242 guests, is twice the size of the original, and opened June 20 with new amenities. Included are a 5,000-square-foot arcade named the Gamers' Garage, private dining rooms for birthday parties and events, three themed dining areas, and a full bar for adults. The Gamers' Garage works entirely on E-tickets, which substantially reduces redemption operational costs.

"When we decided to introduce the arcade at our new location, we envisioned a greener arcade that was completely electronic," said Billy Anderson, Director of Information Technology for the Cohn Restaurant Group. Anderson added, "We knew it was a big project. We were very impressed with the Sacoa system, even more so with the Sacoa installation and how easy it was to use. The Sacoa team helped us through the entire process of installation and training, and the system has turned out to be just what we needed, both from an operational and guest standpoint."

In addition, another Sacoa Playcard system is being set up at Space Port at the Center City Mall in Patterson, N.J., which opens Sept. 1. The location features video games, redemption games (using E-tickets), four mini bowling lanes, and party rooms. For more information, visit (www.playcard.com.ar).
